Wellness with Caroline

This is health and well being on another level. Caroline is so knowledgeable about how the body works and passionate about what she does but is also unbelievably caring about the outcomes and results you want. Yes it’s massage, really good massage, she’s an amazing masseuse but it’s way more. I can’t recommend her skills and approach highly enough. She has made an enormous difference to my health and my life. I’m so thankful I found her.

I’ve had excellent Thai massage and lymphatic work from Caroline, and I can’t recommend her enough. I’d been dealing with hip pain for 2–3 years, which had stopped me from running. After just a couple of sessions with Caroline, I was able to run a 10K completely pain-free. She’s truly brilliant at what she does, combining skill and intuition in a way that’s both effective and deeply healing. Her space is safe, welcoming and full of good energy. You walk in feeling at ease and walk out feeling renewed- in body and mind.

From the moment I walk into Caroline’s delightful, serene massage and relaxation space I feel welcomed, valued and safe. Often the air will smell of Palo Santo wood which lets me know that I’m taking some “me time” . There’s a lovely velvet sofa where you can sit and chat about how you’re feeling over a cup of tea. Caroline gives you space to talk about the niggles in your body, and the events in your life, without judgement, and with empathy. Her Thai massage is firm but thoughtful- always checking with me about the range of movements and stretches I feel able to do and how I’m feeling on the day. The sessions are carried out on a traditional Kapok filled Thai massage mat, together with lovely cushions and soft fabrics. Her signature treatment is lymphatic drainage - often including oil - which as well as helping the body work better and move better, feels great as someone who holds fluid around my neck and upper back and suffers with Scoliosis! Caroline then usually progresses to deep stretches to free up stored tension and loosen knots. Caroline has such a wonderful, warm and friendly energy. She is intuitive and understanding and makes you really feel special by taking time to understand what you need - including letting off steam about your week or a chat about a tv show and 90s R&B. She’s also hilarious, and I can sometimes find myself crying with laughter during a treatment. My time receiving treatment leaves me feeling better mentally and physically. Not only that, I know that Caroline is always striving to grow her expertise and offer new dimensions to her treatments which gives me new things to look forward to. She has recently introduced sound therapy and energy work into her treatments. I had a very quick taster of how she brings her drum into sessions, and I can’t wait to try it properly. Overall - a fantastic holistic body and mind practitioner and life coach, with technical knowledge of physiology beautifully combined with understanding that deeply rooted physical problems can require uncovering even more deeply rooted emotional and mental aspects as part of their resolution.
